Yenisei, LLC was founded in 2013 in St.Petersburg, Russia, when we decided to start offering Augmented Reality projects. We decided to place the 2013-2014 projects in our portfolio because we are proud that Yenisei, LLS, was the first company in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2013 that developed Augmented Reality projects combining printing, AR, and Junaio (a free AR browser). Also, AR projects were new and progressive for their time, and it stays that way today.

1. Printing materials developed from an idea to the final variant. 2. Each item of printing materials has an integrated design AR mark. 3. AR content: videos or interactive 3d animation.
Junaio
At that time, Junaio was used to view AR projects. Junaio is a free AR browser developed by Metaio GmbH. Nowadays, Metaio stopped its support for the Junaio browser and removed it from the market.

About the logo and the name
The Yenisei is one of the longest rivers in the world. It’s powerful, affluent, and vivid. The logotype symbolizes the flow of water, energy, or money. It also resembles the sign of eternity and the church’s domes while providing the brand’s depth and uniqueness.
About the company
Yenisei, LLC was founded in 2013 in St.Petersburg, Russia, when we decided to start offering Augmented Reality or AR projects. Having successfully worked in the Design market for a while at the time, we were looking for new design service offerings that could make our company stand out among other design studios in the market.
AR Research
As a UX Researcher, I reviewed the latest trends in Design. And in January 2013, we brainstormed all the ideas at the time and found a unique solution for the Russian market – projects with Augmented Reality. This is why this branch was selected for more detailed research.
First, we reviewed the AR market in Russia (almost non-existent), the USA, Europe, and Asia. Then, we analyzed all possible ways of using Augmented Reality in various spheres of work and everyday life: architecture, art, marketing, medical fields, education, and many more. We will not provide detailed evidence from research as it is a very vast topic and deserves a separate presentation.
After a thorough review of existing technologies, software possibilities, the time needed to master the topic, specific licenses required to start working with AR, and market demand in the country, we decided to concentrate our attention on the most accessible direction at the moment – polygraphy with augmented reality.
