WINDOWS DISPLAY DESIGN is the first project in the series based on grocery store ‘Rodina Food’

Disclaimer
The client designed the logo [the text RodinaFood] before, and he did not wish to change/update it. However, we suggested several times that the logo in its current state is not readable for any person coming to a store.
STEP #1
WINDOWS DISPLAY DESIGN
TASK: Decorate display windows for a grocery store
Inside window DISPLAY design:
1] The main requirement: create a display window design that would cover no more than 25% of the window space [to follow the city’s rules and that exact location].
2] The name of the store is formed from two words, “Rodina” [means “motherland”] and “food.” So the store front design should create a warm love feeling for the motherland with its traditional foods and tastes. That’s why we decided to use heart silhouettes filled with favorite healthy food in the middle of the glass windows.
3] We added flags of various European countries to show that the store also offers goods from them.
4] Red was chosen as the primary color scheme due to its brightness and attractiveness. We used to build strong recognition of the brand.
5] Additional elements in the design: signs placement for entrance, exit, store work hours, and some other small items.
6] Due to the deadlines and budget, we chose vinyl as a priority material due to its durability and printing quality.
7] Two languages were used in the design of the windows display: English and Russian.
STEP #2
VINYL PRINTING & INSTALLATION
TASK: Research companies that can do the vinyl printing and supervise the installation
We researched all local printing companies in Florida. We found those that can print our designs on vinyl sizes sufficient for displaying windows. Then we visited several matching companies to discuss all the details of the printing job and checked the samples of materials that were offered, printing types, samples, and pricing. Finally, we had a specific budget discussed with a client and managed to match it. The agreements also included delivery and installation.
We were always ready to answer any question of our client while the printing was done. We also checked the quality of all the prints to ensure the work was done perfectly. When vinyl prints were cut and prepared, we ensured they were delivered and installed on time. We came to the store and managed the sticker installation process to ensure it was done right. That created trust with the client and a perfect design fit on the windows. Quality control was made right after the installation.
BEFORE REDESIGN
Initially, the store looked bleak, sad, and unprofessional. Also, it was hard to find it inside the plaza due to its colors and location. People had trouble locating the store when driving by the main road.
AFTER REDESIGN
After we created a new design, the store looks changed forever. It is noticeable from far away, attracting a lot of foot and drive-through traffic. As a result, potential clients better understand the types of foods they can find inside and are eager to come in and try new goods.
OUTCOMES
The new design is very bold and attractive. It reminds visitors about their favorite foods and adds a feeling of warmth to all visitors. The display windows became very prominent and noticeable to passersby. Also, the store is now better seen from the road by drivers. New bright colors added more new traffic to the store itself. The fridges matched the windows and the company brand styles, which created additional perks for all the visitors.
